We want to welcome you to West Conroe Baptist Church; we are excited to have you join our church family! Whether you are interested in moving your church letter, joining through Believer's Baptism or from a statement of a sister church, we invite you to our WCBC New Membership Class!
What is the WCBC Membership Class?
The Membership Class is open to all adults requesting church membership and families may attend the class together. You will be led through a complete overview of West Conroe Baptist Church and learn of opportunities to get involved in ministry and missions.
When is the WCBC Membership Class Offered?
The Membership Class is offered on the 1st Sunday of every month in Building B, 2nd floor.
What is the Purpose of the WCBC Membership Class?
- Confirm what it means to be a follower of Christ on a personal level and as a church member
- Dive into our purpose as a church body
- Explain our local, state and national affiliations
- Explain how our tithes and offerings are distributed and used
- Gives us a chance to get to know you better
At the end of the membership class, you will have the opportunity to affirm your membership request or decide to take additional time to pray about this decision. With your approval, our staff will proceed to finalize your request for membership.
Baptism at West Conroe Baptist Church
After accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, a new Christian believer is baptized to demonstrate their new life in Jesus. West Conroe Baptist Church practices baptism by immersion; symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection into the new life in Christ Jesus.
