Worshiping God through Song
The Worship Ministry of West Conroe exists to glorify God, to point others to Christ through music, and to encourage believers in heartfelt praise.
We are brothers and sisters in Christ who love, care for, and encourage one another. We desire to equip believers to respond to God for who he is and what he's done.
Choir
The Worship Choir is a great opportunity to serve with the Body of Christ. This group is passionate about worship and leads in our weekly traditional service and participates in special presentations throughout the year.
Not everyone in the choir reads music, not everyone in the choir is a soloist, and only a small percentage of the choir has had musical training! Come give choir a try—no risk, no obligation.
Schedule
The Worship Choir rehearses in Bldg. C, Room 250 on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:15 p.m. No audition is required, and all are welcome. The choir helps lead every Sunday for the 8:00 a.m. service.
Get Involved
Just show up to a rehearsal! Guests should go to Bldg. C, Room 250, to the registration table just outside the room and a greeter will assist you in getting rehearsal music, finding a place to sit in your voice part section, and introducing you to some new friends. Orchestra
The Worship Orchestra is composed of individuals who are passionate about using their musical talents to glorify and honor God.
Individuals must have prior experience with a musical instrument. We welcome participants who are committed and faithful to attend rehearsals and presentations.
Schedule
The Worship Orchestra rehearses on Wednesdays from 5:15 p.m. - 5:55 p.m. in the Worship Center. The Orchestra plays every Sunday for the 8:00 a.m. service.

Worship Team
The Worship Team is composed of individuals who are passionate about using their musical talents to glorify and honor God.
Individuals who desire to be a part of the band must have prior musical experience with an instrument. Vocalists are an extension of our choir ministry and are expected to attend weekly choir rehearsals. Members of the worship team are required to attend Wednesday rehearsals.
Schedule
The Worship Band begins rehearsing on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. Vocalists join the band following choir rehearsal at 7:20 p.m. The Worship Team leads every Sunday for the 11:00 a.m. service.

Meet Our Team
Dave serves as the Worship Minister here at West Conroe. Following graduation from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, he served churches in both Texas and Arkansas as a Music and Worship Pastor.
Dave has been married to his wife Carla for nearly 30 years and they have 2 children, Kayla and Ben. Since moving back to Texas, his favorite meal has become Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. Dave is very eclectic when it comes to music. Currently, he is listening to Phil Wickham, but often finds himself switching over to the music of Paul Baloche and Tommy Walker frequently.
When Dave is not in the office he can usually be found on a hiking trail, doing volunteer trail maintenance, or attempting a thru-hike of a long distance National Recreation Trail.
