Women of West Conroe
At West Conroe Baptist Church, we love to see women connect with God and each other through the power of community and the transformative work of God’s word in our lives.
We foster connection through Sunday Life Groups, and weekday and night Bible Study Groups and support groups. We have groups for women in all ages and stages of life, providing a place to belong, grow, and thrive together. In these groups, you’ll find support, encouragement, and opportunities to deepen your faith.
Throughout the year, we also host special events that bring us together for worship, learning and fellowship. These gatherings are designed to inspire, equip and empower women in their faith journey.
Whether you’re new to faith or a long time believer, there’s a place for you at Women of West Conroe (WOW).
Bible Studies
The Women of West Conroe (WOW) have multiple opportunities to study God’s word together. We have several different options that meet throughout the week.
Mom to Mom
Mom to Mom is a biblically-based parenting program designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationships with their husbands and children.
It includes quality instruction in parenting, small group discussion, and the interaction of more experienced mothers with younger moms.
Designed to be both a place of nurture for committed Christian women and a “safe place” to bring community friends, it often becomes a bridge into the church.
It is open to moms that have children birth through elementary age. Childcare is included.
We meet Fridays starting January 9 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
This year we will study the book, "Living By the Book."

Apples of Gold
Apple of Gold is a six-week intergenerational experience where older women pour into younger women through biblical lessons, sharing time, and enjoying a meal together.
Registration is limited to 8 young women.

Hope Gathering
A community of widows finding hope and healing in Christ, encouraging one another in the journey, and seeking God's purpose for our lives in this season.
A monthly evening of Hope Gathering Consists of:
- Working together on healing and conversations about grief
- Occasionally, a guest speaker to help us navigate our journey
- Creating a service project to share with others
- Fun and food
- And every month a devotion that points us back to Jesus, our hope!
